Railway World 2 Episode Nine Part Two

It's competition time - and well done to Christopher Williams from Wales who won the last one by answering "on what date did the Tay Bridge collapse". The right answer was the 28th December 1879 - which probably took the edge off the first footing in that part of the world on New Year's Eve but has proved to be good news for Christopher who wins five DVDs from our wonderful online shop.

Jonathan Newton takes over the reigns as railway World moves back indoors for the winter - but he's got a real surprise up his sleeve - Hailee Forde - a new co-presenter who really knows her trains.

In this part there's more from Chelmsford but also a terrific report from one of our supporters John Downes who tralled to Perthshire for the 71/4" Society's AGM. Now wonder this programme has, up until the present date, been the highest watched Railway World programme with over three and a half thousand views in just three weeks!

Mark Found is in Chelmsford for their annual exhibition - an event that celebrates twenty five years of exhibitionism (can that be that right?). We also look forward to the forthcoming Winter Gala season on the Uk's heritage railways with a great film from the Churnet Valley Railway which is just a bit more than shots (albeit great shots) of trains going past. Oh, and there's a really nice garden railway too.
